Academic All-Star — Wyatt Wootan

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) - This week’s Academic All Star is Wyatt Wootan from Glenns Ferry High School.

Wyatt was Class Vice President during his freshman year. Wyatt has accumulated nearly 60 hours of community service by volunteering at cleanups, putting on a Basketball camp for elementary students, built a fence in the Challis National Forest and much more.

He is currently 4-H Club President and has held leadership positions since his freshman year.

Wyatt, currently football captain, is actively involved and won several awards in football such as All-Honorable Offense & Defense 2020. Wyatt has been actively involved and won numerous awards in football, basketball, and baseball. 

Other extracurriculars include Future Farmers of America and 4-H where he has also won numerous awards. He received a certificate for participating in equine dentistry classes with over 280 hours recorded.

His favorite subjects are agriculture and welding, and he plans to attend Bridgerland Technical College to study welding.
