Layne Rabe joined KMVT News as the Rise and Shine News Producer in January of 2018. He then transitioned to the Rise and Shine Anchor from 5 to 6 in May of 2018. Layne is a Colorado native and grew up in the small mountain town of Granby.
Layne graduated from Doane College with a degree in Mass Communication with and Electronic emphasis in Television and Radio.
He enjoys the beautiful Southern Idaho scenery and enjoys golfing at all of the great Magic Valley golf courses and kayaking on the Snake River.
Layne is excited to become a part of the Southern Idaho community.
