HOWE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A Filer man has died following an accident in eastern Idaho early Monday afternoon.

Jimmy Combs, 58, was headed west on State Highway 33, near Howe, in a pickup pulling a trailer with an ATV, when he lost control on a curve. Idaho State Police say he drove into the eastbound lanes and struck a corner of a house being hauled by Donald Compton, 57, of Boise in a 2006 Peterbilt.

Combs died at the scene, he was not wearing a seatbelt.

Meanwhile, his ATV came out of the trailer and hit a pilot car driven by Mandy Zollinger, 40, of Rexburg.

No one else suffered injuries.
