BOISE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Idaho State Board of Education approved raising student fees at Idaho’s four-year institutions.

While the fees were increased, tuition will remain flat.

The cost increases were brought about as a way to combat increased inflationary and student service costs as well as maintenance backlogs.

The increases will take affect in the 2022/2023 academic year at the following rates for the following schools:

  • Lewis-Clark State College                         $14 per year
  • University of Idaho                                      $56 per year
  • Boise State University                               $304 per year
  • Idaho State University                                 $86 per year
